About Dr. Rajani Shettigar

I have always had a strong passion for teaching and research, which led me to join academics in the year 1997. I played a key role in establishing the first institution I worked with at its new location and implemented a Quality Management System. As a result, during my tenure as Principal, the institution became the first pharmacy college in the country to receive the ISO 9001:2000 certification and to be accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council.

In addition to my stellar academic record and job responsibilities, I actively engaged in research on the "Status of Community Pharmacy Practice in India," presenting three research papers on my findings at the 63rd World Congress of the International Pharmaceutical Federation held in Sydney in 2003. My commitment to enhancing community healthcare through patient counselling and education motivated me to establish my own Pharmacy and Healthcare Centre in 2017.

As I continue to serve as a Mentor in Pharmacy Education and a Consulting Pharmacist for community improvement, I have begun my journey as a Health Coach, helping people overcome lifestyle diseases through simple, sustainable changes. I am a Reiki Practitioner, a trained acupuncture and Sujok therapist, believing in a holistic approach to healing. Recognising the importance of mental health for my students and patients, I am delving deeper into mental health counselling and have stepped into Mindset coaching through Cognitive hypnotherapy.
